WOW.CATCH.UP - Honours is hectic hence the lack of action on here...
Besides the endless studio work, I managed to find a little bit of time to curate a show of emerging local artists for Fringe Benefits' new gallery Trigger. The show was called You Were (b)Right and featured artists were Sam Howie, Talia Wignall, Monte Masi, Jessie Lumb, James Marshall, Anna Horne and Laura Haigh.
Once again the The TwoPercent Collective bring us another great show of emerging Adelaide artists, some of them for the first time trying their hands at some sculpture and installation. Featuring local kids Stephanie English, Amy Joy Watson, Jessie Lumb, Jock Walker, Hugh Rennison, Chloe Langford, Kate Gagliardi, Madeline Reece, Katherine Botten, Katie Barber, Riley Okeeffe, Brad Lay, Sam Howie, George Zacharoyannis, Carly Snoswell, Jolyon Auri.
The show was a great success with a great turn out and another late night. 9 o'clock thursday classes have been deadly lately.
Here is my work and some of the other work from the show.
Riley O'Keeffe - And you in your turn…
chair, paper, ink
Stephanie English - today all of my plans were not successful
Those wonderful kids from the TwoPercent Collective , on the 10th of March, put on 'Small'. A group exhibition of works for the home. It was, as all TwoPercent openings are, an amazing and huge night.
Last year's Graduate Exhibition Isolation, was an amazing success! Thousands of people through the doors, many beers drunk and some extremely positive feedback. An incredible night!
This was the piece I had in the show which culminated almost my entire second semester.
Only a matter of time before I graced the world.wide.web and now the internet knows I exist. And now you do as well. I paint and build and write and art. This will be my documentation of that. For me more than anyone. Riley
